3. Veterans Choice Program: Trump claimed he passed the Veterans Choice program, but it is actually a policy that began under Obama and Biden in 2014.
4. Reduction of Black Unemployment: Trump touted the low unemployment rate for African Americans during his administration. However, the rate was already in a downward trend during Obama’s presidency.
5. Energy Production: Trump bragged about how the United States became energy independent and a net exporter of gas during his time. However, the United States became the largest producer of oil and natural gas in the world in 2012, under the Obama-Biden administration.
6. Funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs): While Trump did sign legislation increasing funding for HBCUs, Obama and Biden increased HBCU funding by more than $1 billion during their administration.
